Brigit is the co-founder of WE, a company that creates space for women to support women. Over the past decade, WE has facilitated experiences for thousands of people to explore how to connect deeply with ourselves, each other, and our communities. brigit HAS INSPIRED SO MANY TO PUT RELATIONAL MINDFULNESS AT the forefront of each and every encounter they have. transforming culture one relationship at a time. Who is in your nuclear family?

My partner Neo & my two kids, Wyatt & Eden

What most often brings you together as a family?

With more demands at work in the past months, I’ve come to cherish the moments of rest with my family. My kids LOVE stories, so we really enjoy reading, movies, and storytelling.

What do you believe makes your family unique?

We celebrate our differences and create a space for everyone to be true to themselves. 

Have you faced any challenges as a family lately?

My fAmily and I just moved to Los Angeles in the past few months and moving was chaotic. In the beginning of the fall my kids transferred to two schools, which was challenging, exciting, and fun. 

Do you often host visitors or guests and if so what drives you to do so?

YES! We love hosting because we learn so much from gathering people and hearing their stories and sharing with them.

As a family, do you have rituals or traditions?

DuriNg the holidays and vacations we often take family trips and explore new places… travel is our favorite shared experience.

What's one word you would use to describe your family?

Magic

What keeps you living in Los Angeles?

I love Los Angeles because of the support & the abundance of opportunity and access that this city has to offer: whether that be innovation, creativity, or a new space to explore.

How would you describe your home?

The Ritchie household is chaotic, cozy, connected and intentional.

Tell us a bit about ‘We’ and what you do:

WE is a learning studio that facilitates workshops, retreats, and art experiences to reimagine relationships. Our Relational Mindfulness™ programs equip everyone with mindfulness practices, emotional intelligence, and inclusive leadership skills to have healthy relationships in and out of the workplace.  We're on a mission to transform culture one relationship at a time! 

In running your own business, how have you approached managing your work life balance?

This is NOT easy people! One thing I really embrace is that there are ebbs and flows of intensity and chilling out. I remind myself that my family is committed to the growth of each person and that means we all create space for each other to be figuring out balance as we go.  Sometimes I over do it and then I just try and be more present at home and at work and be mindful of what's needed today. 

Do your personal life and work ever intersect?

Absolutely! I try and live out Relational Mindfulness in both my personal and professional life. I'm always learning from the people around me. I'm so grateful for how I'm supported constantly by the people around me and so much of what we've been able to do, to bring our workshops around the world, is because our friends and colleagues have made a way for us.
